Long-Sleeve Drawstring Dress

    Long-Sleeve Drawstring Dress

Can we please talk drawstring dresses for a sec?  I REALLY love them.  I think they are super easy to throw on.   And you can style them in SO many different ways it is really wonderful.  My drawstring dress is SO versatile I wear it to so many different types of functions because it can be easily dressed up or dressed down.  I have worn it to a casual lunch and dinner and even some semi-professional work events.  Which makes me think that drawstring dresses are a staple for any girl’s closet!  (Since they seem to be to able to adapt to many different functions and activities!)  Additionally, I think that a long-sleeved basic drawstring dress is perfect to wear transitioning from Summer into Fall.

Happy Halloween!!:):)  I hope you had a “spooktacular” Halloween! 🙂  I feel like I have never really been fully prepared for Halloween, like ever.  I seem to always be a  last minute costumer scrambling to try to find something cute to wear.  So DIY costumes strung together by whatever I find in my house/ closet seem to be what I do every year!  And this year was no exception.  I did a couple costume with my friend Kristen where she was Glinda the Good Witch and I was Dorothy!  It was such a great idea and wonderful outcome (shout out to my baby cousin Megan for lending me her cute stuffed doggie that I used as Toto for my basket) and I got to braid my hair! Huzzah!  🙂  But before the Halloween festivities I walked around in my brown comfy sweater (LOVE this pretty brown color) and looked at some pretty pumpkins! 🙂  I am so glad that pumpkins are an ALL Fall thing instead of a just a “Halloween” thing because I like seeing them around.  I think they’re cute!  So I am glad they extend to at least Thanksgiving! 🙂  Happy last day of October!
